This song was written by me and it's another quick song with a YouTube beat about having a crush on someone and not being able to let them know. It's a very cute R&B inspired track and I think you'll like it.

Higher is one of the most layered songs I've written because it talks about the euphoria of being high and how the sensation you feel when you're high, can be a metaphor for the sensation/euphoria you feel with a significant other.

The Started album/mixtape/EP (I could never decide what it was, lol) came after the first EP I released in 2018 called Starter. This basically titles my "coming out" into the music industry as a singer/songwriter. I released Started in 2019 as a collection of songs I had released on SoundCloud as a test to see if I could create an audience for myself within the music landscape. The album was received fairly well, even getting a shout out from Black Coffee who said his favourite song was "Without

African Woman was written after a conversation I had with a friend in Berlin about the difficulty she had being a black woman in Germany. We discussed the struggle the diaspora faces, that I didn't really know before moving there, and after that conversation I saw the parallels of our lives as black women living anywhere in the world and decided to write a song about it.
